Feliz año nuevo

Hola everyone.  I hope you had a good new year.  This week was pretty great for the most part.  I've played a lot of beach volleyball which is super fun.  My companion "died" earlier this week [He didn't really die, maybe he wished he did because he was super sick].  He wasn´t doing too hot for a good two days.  And one of our other district members has an infected tooth that has swollen his face and been super painful for the last week or two.  He has a dentist appointment tomorrow and may need oral surgery.  I helped his companion teach a lesson on obedience while my comp stayed with him and they suffered together.  But you only receive a witness after the trial of your faith.  I sewed a water bottle holder on my bag and a now have much more respect for sewing machines.  It took me about 5 hours combined but I was able to do that while my companion was sick.

I feel like I can read the Spanish scriptures and understand what it says much better now and can almost understand everything.  I have really loved studying them.  It is pretty weird that I am more than halfway done with the MTC.  The days are so similar that it doesn' t seem like I've been here super long.  But at the same time, the time that I left seems like an eternity ago.  I went to the temple today probably for the last time in two years.  It was my favorite time going.  I didn't use translating headphones this time but it wasn't too bad.  I could either understand or I knew what was being said from other times.  There were a couple small changes that were made that the first presidency had received revelation that should be changed.  I like it.  I saw a different video this time and it was by far the best I have seen.  Parts were from Utah and It was just so good.  I encourage all of you to go soon and often or prepare to go soon and often.  It is a great experience.  I love it and I will miss it.
