At the beginning of this week, I was kind of stressed at all the things I had to do/prepare. I needed to memorize the 1st vision, Moroni 10:3-5, prepare a lesson for two different interested persons, as well as trying to keep my goal of memorizing 40 new words and 3 phrases a day, and a scripture every other day. I was able to memorize 1st vision in 40 minutes for the first time and then I just practiced more until I had it down. Everyone here and the constant spirit really helps to calm down. Our last practice street contact went really well and smooth and our last lesson felt really spiritual and effective for obtaining the needs of "jenny". Everyone here has the same goal to better teach in Spanish so practice with anyone is a possibility and really helpful.
Sacrament was fantastic and really quiet. There was a violin/piano song in the middle which was beautiful and made me have a little run down of Jesus' life in my head. I really enjoyed it. Christmas was really great. I was able to call my family for 30 minutes which was nice to hear from them and see how they have been the last couple weeks. We watched a devotional That elder and sister Bednar put on to all the MTC's around the world. I like how he focused on not writing what speakers say but what you hear from the spirit during a talk.
We had a secret Santa with our district and someone gave me a really cool book with a ton of gospel paintings in it. It was a good time. I hope you remember the importance and reason of the season and How Christ is the center of it all. Have a good new year!
Mosiah 3:17 Jesus is the only name under the heavens in which we could be saved. There was no backup.
Elder Bednar: Don't focus on if it is your thoughts or a spiritual prompting all the time if it influences to follow Christ, Do it
