12 More Days

I can't believe I am starting to organize things to leave here soon.  I don't speak fast enough, haha.  I have learned a lot but I have plenty of room to grow and learn the dialect of Chile. I remember when I first got here and though people in the fifth week were so smart but I am going to starting over figuratively in the field.  I am super excited and a bit nervous.  It is funny the changes of my resolutions this year compared to others.

Good stuff.  We had a hype meeting to keep us working hard in the last couple of weeks which was cool.  They told us to sprint to the end.  And we all need to perseverar hasta el fin.  I'm memorizing a few hundred words a week,  30 or so phrases, and 4ish scriptures a week.  I need plenty of help from God because that gets kind of difficult.  I cut my own hair this morning.  I woke up at 5 so I had plenty of time and I think it went well.  In our class we play "who is the latino" and the latino can't speak a single English word and everyone else speaks all Spanish so the teacher doesn't know by the end of the day.  That helps a lot with our Spanish and the speed we speak.  Next week I have to get visa stuff done and I may have my P-day on Friday

Devotional thought:  The greatest indicator of being converted to the Lord Jesus Christ is how we treat other people.  Make sure you are being an example of Christ in everything you do, say, and think whether or not you wear his name.  It makes the world a better place.
