Our first contact from Elder Henry, from the Mexico City, MTC.  (Dec 11, 5:36 pm, MST)

I´m alive

Hi everyone! I hope you guys are doing well.  I got here safe.  The flight wasn't too long and I sat in the aisle because the other two got there first.  There were about 40 of us on the plane.  It was quite the sight. It was about a 1-hour drive and the people here drive crazy.  The city looks really cool and there is a lot of graffiti and it occasionally smells like sulfur/eggs.  I just went through the first orientation and got a lot of books and things that I already have.  It's really pretty here.  My p-day is Wednesday so I'll be able to take some pictures tomorrow and show you guys.  We're about to go eat dinner (pizza) and meet our companions later.  It's a really cool place and I'm sure Spanish will be learned quite quickly here.  I love you guys and miss you.

    Follow up email "My branch is 12 and district A. I actually am not 100% sure I will be able to email tomorrow. Something says to tell you I won't be able to email until next week."
